Travel from the UK to the Hotel in Soest, Germany under your own arrangement, either through Euro Tunnel, Channel Ferry or Ferry to the Hook of Holland.

Ride to our first night stop (the hotel is 300 miles from Calais) at our hotel. Our tour guide for the week, Tony Dadson from "Dam Buster Motorcycle Tours", will meet us there to garage our bikes for the night and check you us into our rooms.

There will be a "Tour" dinner on the first night in the local Balkans Restaurant - this is a platter meal and is €15 per head, but is of course optional. The hotel has a great bar for us to relax in, socialise and enjoy the local beer.

After a hearty continental breakfast at 09:00 we will get ready and depart for the Harz Mountains. The route will take us along the Ruhr Valley, up the winding roads to visit Wewelsburg Castle. This castle was taken over by the Nazi Party in the 1930s as the SS Headquarters and was Heinrich Himmler's main residence throughout the war. It was going to be the "centre of the world" according to the SS! It now has a fantastic museum and a great little café.

Once we leave the castle we will head up the towards Hameln, famous for the Pied Piper and then on to the beautiful town of Goslar in the Harz Mountains finally arriving at our Bikers Accommodation in Bad Lauterberg.

The Bikers Accommodation has a great area for socialising, beer drinking, BBQs etc. It also has a fantastic garage to keep the bikes safe.

After breakfast we will head off to explore the Harz Mountains and its awesome biking roads and a visit to the V1/V2 Missile site led by our host from the Bed and Breakfast who is also a local Motorcycle Tour Guide.

After the days riding it is back to our B & B to relax, with food and beer and chilling out for the rest of the night.

For our second Day in the Harz we will travel a bit further afield and visit the Kyffhauser, a legendary biking road that has 36 hairpins and allegedly the best bratwursts in the Harz! This will be a pretty chilled out day with the mileage reasonably low arriving back at the B & B by late afternoon for more good food and drink.

We pack our bags, bid farewell to our hosts and head off from Bad Lauterberg. After a bit of a thrash down the autobahn and then we will head towards the Eder dam in all its glory, and if time allows visit the Dam busters Information Centre/Museum there too.

Once we have visited the Eder we will wind our way back through the Ruhr valley to our hotel in Soest. On the way back we will visit the biker's cafe at Diemelsee. We will arrive back at the hotel around 17:00.

Once we are back in the hotel, checked-in, bikes in the garage, the evening is your own to enjoy the beautiful town of Soest.

This is a free day to relax and do what you wish. A day off the bikes will let you explore Soest, which has 1000 years of history and has plenty to offer with its city walls, churches, restaurants and bars. A good day to sit in one of the many cafes or bars and watch the world go by.

After a full continental breakfast, we will all meet at the hotel garage at approx. 09:30 for the days riding.

Firstly we will visit the Mohnesee, which is only a 15 minute ride from the hotel and spend an hour looking around the famous dam. En route to the dam we can visit the crash site of one of the Lancaster's AJ (M) which is marked by a memorial post near the autobahn.

After the dam we will ride down to Diemelsee (again because it's awesome) of which the dam was actually a secondary target for the Dam Busters and we will have lunch at the famous biker's café there.

After lunch we will ride some of the best road in the Ruhr Valley back westwards to the Sorpe dam. Then, we will head back to the hotel, arriving at approx. 17:00.

As it is the last night we will find some where for our "End of Tour" dinner.

After our last full continental breakfast together, it will be time to make our way back to the UK under our own return arrangements.

What is not included: Ferry or Tunnel crossing, museum fees, petrol, breakdown and holiday insurance, lunch, evening meals, alcohol etc

For anyone who wants to leave on Friday night, there is a stop off point at the Bikers Loft in Belgium before heading through Holland into Germany on Saturday.

Journey From The Barge (A) to the Biker Loft (B) approx 150 miles.
Bikers Loft (B) to the Stadt Hotel in Soest (C) approx 240 miles.
